Description
Splintertarn Camo Zeltbahn
This reproduction Splintertarn Camo Zeltbahn is our newest and most improved version to date. It has been developed with much closer attention to original wartime examples. As a result, the overall appearance, materials and construction now offer a far more convincing reproduction.
The Splintertarn print has been recreated as closely as possible to original patterns. In addition, the fabric has received a water-repellent treatment. This makes the Zeltbahn suitable for both display and practical reenactment use.
We also developed new moulds for all metal parts. Therefore, the fittings now offer a more accurate shape and appearance. These small details make a major difference for serious collectors and reenactors.
The ropes use high-quality hemp instead of cheaper jute. Hemp offers better durability and creates a more authentic look. In addition, several production steps involve hand craftsmanship, just like the original examples.
The Zeltbahn combines accurate materials with a practical military design. It can serve as a camouflage shelter, ground sheet or field equipment item. Therefore, it works well for reenactment camps, film productions and historical displays.
This latest version focuses strongly on authenticity. The improved print, redesigned metal components and upgraded materials bring the reproduction much closer to original wartime pieces.
Collectors will appreciate the improved construction and attention to small details. Likewise, reenactors benefit from the water-repellent fabric and durable hemp ropes. Film productions can also use the Zeltbahn for convincing field scenes and equipment setups.
Feldgrau Militaria offers this Splintertarn Camo Zeltbahn as a high-quality reproduction for responsible historical, educational and cinematic use. If you already know our previous version, this new model represents a major step forward in accuracy and construction.
