Description
M43 Splintertarn Camo Trousers
The M43 Splintertarn Camo Trousers provide a detailed and accurate reproduction for anyone building a late-war German field impression. These trousers follow the original 1943 design and use the classic Splinter camouflage pattern that appeared widely in the final years of the conflict. The cut offers mobility and durability, making them suitable for both display and active field use at reenactment events.
The fabric features a clean and sharp print that recreates the original tones and geometric shapes of the wartime pattern. The stitching is strong and reliable, and the pocket layout follows the correct wartime construction. The waist adjustment tabs, belt loops and button fly all mirror the features seen on surviving originals. These details create a realistic look that collectors and reenactors value.
Comfort is essential in any field kit, and these trousers allow easy movement during marching, drill or tactical scenarios. The material is durable enough for outdoor use but still flexible, making long wear comfortable. Over time, the fabric develops a natural worn look that adds authenticity without compromising strength.
These trousers work well with a wide range of late-war uniforms. They pair perfectly with the M43 field blouse, Splinter camouflage tunics, standard wool uniforms and field gear such as Y-straps, belts and equipment pouches. Whether you aim for a front-line infantry portrayal or a more general late-war impression, these trousers fit seamlessly into your loadout.
Collectors appreciate the accuracy of the fabric and construction. Reenactors choose this reproduction because it offers both historical detail and practical performance. Add these trousers to your gear if you want a reliable and authentic late-war addition that performs well in both display and field conditions.

High quality product, the trousers fit very nicely and are quite comfortable to wear, a small thing I do wish to point out: even though these are M43 style trousers, they do not (or at least mine did not) come with interior buttons in order to be compatible with the “German Trouser Braces / Suspenders” (although normal M43 trousers do come with interior buttons so you should be able to pair the suspends and the normal M43 trousers).
Can’t wait to test these bad boys in the field!
